How we do it
Most asphalt failures start underneath. Before we pave, we excavate soft spots, grade for drainage and build a compacted base suited to the traffic it will carry, from a family car to loaded trucks.
We then lay hot-mix asphalt, roll it while it is at the right temperature and finish the edges cleanly. Every job gets a clear written estimate, and we keep you updated on timing from start to finish.

Asphalt Paving questions
How thick should my asphalt be?
Driveways are usually 2 to 3 inches over a compacted base; areas with trucks and equipment need more. We size it to the traffic on your estimate.
When can I drive on new asphalt?
Usually after 24 to 72 hours, depending on the weather. We will tell you on the day.
Asphalt or tar and chip?
Asphalt is smoother and better for heavy, turning traffic. Tar and chip costs less over long distances. We are happy to price both.
